5-foot-9, 155-pound, LHP has a smaller and more compact frame on the mound that actually helps him stay a little more consistent and connected. Jones is smooth uses a fluid arm action through a high ¾ slot after striding in-line and balanced. He’s very polished for his age and showed the pitchability of throwing 3 pitches for strikes. Fastball had some run when located down in the zone, curveball had 2/8 shape and was occasionally very sharp, and his changeup had some fade at the plate.

5-foot-9, 155-pound, LHP stays smooth and uses a consistent and fluid delivery, gets into a loaded position at the top of his leg lift with a big turn of his shoulders that gets him closed before heading home, strides and lands in a closed position but doesn’t have any trouble getting his hand out front and to the plate, arm action is a little longer through a high ¾ slot, lands in balance. Fastball was mostly straight, curveball had 1/7 shape and showed the ability to be sharp, changeup had some run.
