9/24/17 - Max FB: 87, FB: 83-86, CB: 67-73, CH: 78-79,
6-foot-6, 225-pound, RHP struck out 2 in 4 innings w/ 68 % swing and miss rate.  XL body w/ present strength, thick lower half.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ rocker step into first base side of the rubber setup.  Balance point, leg drive and ¾ release w/ ability to get down the mound.  Effort in throw w/ limbs coming at you, some head violence.  Quick arm suggests more velo coming.  FB w/ occasional cut, rides through the zone.  Generated 75 % swing and miss rate on the pitch.  CB flashes as tight, medium downer.  Overspun it a bit in this outing, has shown feel for this pitch in the past.  CH w/ armspeed, fade and sink.  Pounded the zone w/ FB’s (14 of 17 for strikes) and has shown ability to fill the zone w/ off-speed in the past.  Flashes ability to command the zone.  One of the best uncommitted 2018 arms in the state.

9/10/17 - Max FB: 85, FB (83-85), CB (67-71), CH (77-78)
RHP w/ XL build and present strength shows potential for 3 avg pitches.  Works in an up tempo delivery w/ a high effort throw and 3/4 release point.  Inverted W.  Lot of limbs coming at hitters.  Gets downhill life on the FB when finishes, flattens out when elevated.  Combination of the deception and FB velo resulted in 44 % swing and miss rate.  CB is medium downer w/ early break, flashes tight rotation.  CH w/ armspeed and fade.  Strike thrower (15 of 21) with an idea of what he's doing with it.  One of the top uncommitted arms in the 2018 class.

6/14/17 - Max FB: 87, FB: 85-87, CB: 68-72, CH: 73-74, 
6-foot-5, 235-pound, RHP works with good tempo while displaying confidence and a commanding presence on the mound.  Taylor’s frame suggests more velo could be coming, as he shows a quick and loose arm action through a high ¾ release point.  He gets good tilt on his fastball when he keeps it down, but can flatten it out when left up.  His curveball showed 11/5  shape with the ability to garner some swing-and-misses throughout the course of a game.

10/25/15 - 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect with a large frame, quick and loose arm works through a high-3/4 slot, fastball sat 83-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph with occasional good arm-side run, pitches inside well with the fastball, 72-73 mph curveball shows short 11/5 action, occasionally opens early and arm drags slightly on curveball, showed a good change with solid fade and sink at 76-77 mph. He also flashed a slider with a 10/4 break at 74-75 mph. Taylor uses both sides of the plate and showed good command during his outing. He had three strikeouts in two innings pitched during game play and jumped into the 2018 rankings after the event.
