6-foot-1, 200-pound backstop has proportional frame with present strength. Stewart was a big time arm early in his prep career, but Tommy John surgery has moved the senior to behind the dish for MUS. After a state runner up finish on the gridiron as a DT, Stewart will head back to the diamond and try to secure a college scholarship. Tall, balanced stance with small leg kick, generates great bat speed (Max: 78.4; Avg: 70.4 per Blast) and strong rotational data (Max: 20.9 G; Avg: 17.1 G per Blast). Leads to heavy dose of line drives to all fields, but potential power to the pull side. Defensively, quiet movement and low presentation, really liked how he received it with relaxed hands. Average arm strength and solid transfers on throw downs. Stewart popped an honest 2.08-2.14, but should smooth transitions and excellent accuracy on the bag.
6/24/20

While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.08-2.14, throw downs to second topped out at 73 mph; has consistent athletic feet, a clean exchange and soft consistent hands. Quiet setup with above average flexibility. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.51.
