The 6’3 185-pound right hander displayed a three-pitch mix with good mound presence. O’Shoney established the fastball at 84-87 with some late arm side run that filled up the zone. He leaned on his well commanded 70-73 mph 11/5 breaking ball, which had good shape and spin. He occasionally mixed a 76-78 mph changeup with some arm side run that tunnels well off the sinking fastball. Both off-speed project as above average offerings. With a tall, athletic frame, O’Shoney showed efficient rhythm and timing in his delivery, and he struck out three batters in two innings of work.

6-foot-3, 164-pound, RHP pounded the zone w/ his FB while showing off a super projectable frame that has already had one large velocity jump. Prototypical pitcher build, tall, athletic w/ some present lower half strength, long and lanky, super projectable. Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the middle of the rubber. Quiet, clean, repeatable delivery. Quick arm w/ extension, downhill plane and angle. FB shows occasional arm-side run, relies on his downhill plane for life in the zone. Medium downer CB flashes above average w/ tight rotation, late bite, above average depth. CH w/ arm-speed, short fade and sink. Both off-speed project above average. Pounds the zone w/ his 3-pitch mix, 18 of 25 for strikes on this day. Projects to command. Generated 1 swing and miss on 7 swings.

6-foot-1, 145-pound, RHP has an athletic and wiry frame that leaves plenty of room to grow and fill out over the next 2-3 years. O’Shoney uses a very uptempo delivery and shows a pretty quick pace to his descent upon the plate. He does use a long arm action through a high ¾ slot that jumps on the hitter. He could stride out a touch further. Fastball was pretty straight, while his curveball showed 12/6 shape through the zone.
