5-foot-10, 170-pound, LHH his from a wider and balanced stance and uses a toe-tap and fairly long stride with some rhythmic movement of his hands and a slight tilt of the barrel to get loaded, lower half works well but often pulls him forward and ahead of the pitch, hands come from a good spot but can get long at times and steeper on the lower pitches, hit some hard line drives to RF in BP.  Defensively, showed soft hands and smooth footwork around and through the ball, played shortstop well and is capable of making many plays, exchange and arm action can get a little long with a glove pat but uses a short arm action to get rid of the ball through a high ¾ slot, accurate throws across the infield had some zip to them. 

10/25/15 - The 5 foot 10, 165-pound prospect posted a 7.41 60 time and had an 81 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Skole shows short arm action with the ability to throw from multiple arm slots, accuracy on throws, good arm strength, soft hands, fluid footwork and works through the ball well. Offensively, Skole shows average bat speed from the left side and had a 79 mph exit velocity off the tee. Skole hits from a balanced setup, has a short stride, maintains good balance, gets the barrel on plane quickly and keeps it in the zone, line drive type hitter with ability to use all fields. Skole went 2 for 4 during game play with a single and a triple in showing his solid left-handed bat.
