9/24/17 - Max FB: 86, FB: 82-85, CB: 69-70, CH: 73-78,
6-foot-3, 185-pound, RHP continues to tough higher velo’s the more events he comes to, touching 86 on this day.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step and sets back foot on first base side of rubber.  Balance point to leg drive to H 3/4 release point w/ some effort and head violence.  Gets downhill.  FB w/ a little ASR.  Relies on downhill plane to generate life.  CB is 11-5 medium downer w/ average depth.  Showed tight rotation, late break.  CH is go-to off-speed pitch.  Thrown w/ armspeed, fade and sink.  Flashes above avg w/ late fade.  Strike thrower (25 of 32 for strikes) flashes ability to pitch w/ intent/command.  Definite collegiate pitcher who should be hearing from schools in need of a RHP to round out their class.

7/5/17 - Max FB: 85, FB: 83-85, CB: 67-69
6-3, 185-pound, RHP begins calmly and stays consistent throughout his delivery, gets loaded at the top and leads to a slightly closed stride toward the plate, long and looser arm action comes through a high 3/4 slot.  Fastball seemed heavy and showed some run into the zone, while his curveball showed 12/6 to 11/5 shape with some solid movement.

6/14/16 - Max FB: 80, FB: 77-80, 68-70 Slider
5'11, 160-pound, RHP showed a very polished approach on the mound and utilized a very controlled delivery throughout, high leg lift led to good alignment in his stride toward home plate and a walk through of a finish, somewhat long arm action is achieved by reaching back with the ball and staying loose throughout his over-the-top delivery.  Fastball showed consistency and although it stayed fairly straight, it was located down in the zone and away from most hitters, breaking ball showed some different movement from time to time but was at its sharpest when thrown firmly and with 10/4 action. Joyce didn’t work with the fastest tempo, but saw good results and continuously kept hitters off balance.

2/1/2020: Out for season. TJ surgery end of Jan '20.
