Adams is 5-9 with an athletic 190 pound frame that has strength present in the lower half. He hits from the right side from a slightly open relaxed athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill swing path, with extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, generates some loft and carry in the middle of the field, exit velocity was 83. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 73 and pop times 2.13-2.27.

He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, with some extra base power present, exit velocity was 85. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 72 and pop times 1.98-2.06. Showed some accuracy on his throws. Receiving, he gets low and works up to the ball, presenting a decent strike in front. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands slightly open with a bit of a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 74-78, touching 79, with a bit of downward angle some late armside run. Curveball was 70-71 with good armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 71-73 with good armspeed and heavy fade to it.
