Lindauer has a taller athletic frame with some projection left to it. He throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot with a free arm action and normal effort. Lands closed with athletic finish. Fastball was 79-83, touching 84. Pitch was flat up in the zone, got a bit of late run when he got it down to armside. Curveball was 65 with loopy 10/4 break, needs to be thrown harder to sharpen up but it has some shape and potential in the future. Command was off and he was mechanically out of sync. Faced seven hitters and recorded 2 outs, a sac bunt and a sac fly.
3.18.17: Lindauer has a lanky frame and throws from a low three-quarters arm slot. Arm action is long and free with normal effort. Shoulders uphill and on line, landing is square and athletic. Fastball had late run, sitting 79-81, touching 82 early, was 76-77 touching 78 later in the game. Curveball had gradual 11/5 break, slowing arm a bit at 63. Change-up had good armspeed and sink. Primarily threw fastballs, command was inconsistent, but very good in spurts.
