Wilson is an athletic outfielder who has speed and some arm strength. Covers ground well in center and gets good breaks on balls. At the plate, hits from the left side with a short swing and some batspeed. Line drive hitter with a good approach, working gap to gap and using the whole field effectively. Barreled the ball all three times against Agnos, lining out to center once and doubling to right center in another at-bat. His speed was on display as it was more of single that he stretched than a true double. Good player who fits well at the top of an order.
9.27.17: Wilson has an athletic frame, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a long fluid arm action. Shoulders downhill and on line, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 71-73 with some sink to it. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash.
