10.21.17: Johnson is 6-0 with an athletic frame, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery, short free arm action with some quickness, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and on line, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 75-77, touching 79, with a bit of late boring run to it. Curveball was 60-62 and had gradual 1/7 break. Change-up was 66-72 with sinking action and good armspeed at the higher end of that velocity range.
