Mounts is 5-11 and has a lanky frame with a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a very low three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action with normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are closed, lands slightly closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 70-74 with sink to it. Curveball was 66-68 with good armspeed and sweeping action. Changeup was 69-70 with good armspeed and heavy sink. At the plate, hits from the left side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back, hips rotate, and he maintains balance during his swing. Short level line drive swing, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 77. In the outfield, gets behind ball and fields towards his target with above average hands. Quick clean exchange, throws from a very low three-quarters arm slot, outfield velocity 72.

Longer path, level swing, line drive hitter, exit velocity of 65. In the outfield, aggressive approach and average hands, plays through ball, clean exchange. Throws from low three-quarters slot with a position velocity of 72.
