11.1.15: Agate has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a short, loose arm action and a quick arm that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are closed and slightly down as he strides out to a closed landing, creating a crossfire delivery. Agate’s fastball had late run and some plane to it. He commanded it well at the bottom of the zone and sat 77-79, touching 80. His curveball has sharp 11/5 action and decent armspeed and ran 64-68. His changeup was thrown for strikes with decent armspeed and sink, running 71-74.
