Braley has a lankier athletic frame with some projection left to it. He breaks back and has a longer free arm action that is clean with some quickness and some effort to it. Shoulders are closed and level, lands on line with a bit of fall off finish. Fastball was 78-82, touching 83 with some angle and hard late armside run. Showed ability to cut the fastball some as well. Held his velocity in the stretch and for his entire outing, with his 83s actually coming in the fourth inning. Change-up was 73-77 with good armspeed and heavy fade to it. Curveball had good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break at 71-72. Showed good feel for all three of his pitches and the ability to move the fastball around the zone. Has a chance to add more velocity and the makings of a good three-pitch mix which will make him an effective pitcher at the next level.
