Wallis is a tall catcher with a lankier athletic frame that has projection left to it. He will need to improve as a receiver to stick behind the plate. At the plate he hits from the right side and showed some batspeed and a short swing. Has a pull approach and barreled two balls and took a walk. Want to see his bat again and lock in more closely on him, an interesting player who has a lot of upside.
