Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Roy is 5-10 with a lanky 145 pound frame that has projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly closed balanced athletic stance, toe stays down during stride, short load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach using the whole field, chance to grow into some extra base power, exit velocity was 83. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash.

Body: 5’10’’, 145 pounds. Lean, athletic build with some interesting attributes. Hit: RHH. Wide, even stance with rhythm in the hands, uses a no stride look with slight weight shift over the backside and into impact. The barrel worked mostly flat into the hitting zone generating a line drive approach through both gaps. Has room to continue getting more lower half involved in the swing. Power: 81 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Developing doubles power as he works to get extended at the front of the plate. Arm: RH. OF - 74 mph. Short, over the top slot with quickness at release. Defense: Will be stationed in left field moving forward, though the foot-speed helps the case with good reads and athletic play style in space. Run: 7.23 60-yard time.
