5.26.17: Price has an athletic frame, quick arm with some effort, shorter arm action, low three-quarters arm slot that is much lower than he was in 2016. Fastball was 84-86 early, touching 88. He was still 82-84 in the seventh inning, a lot of late movement to the ball with the lower slot. Commanded both sides of the plate. Change-up had good armspeed and fading action at 75-78. Breaking ball was off that day, slowed arm and got gradual 10/4 break to it.

4.25.17: Fluid, compact delivery with tempo. Simple delivery with some lower half involvement. Worked downhill well in the game, was getting some two-plane action on his fastball. Was 84-87 in the first, then sat 84-86 throughout. Good actions on the fastball in the game. Changeup was second pitch, fastball arm speed with late fade on the pitch ranging from 74-76 mph. Breaking ball used more in the later half of the game. Had 12/6 action in-between innings, then in game more of a 11/5 action. Average depth on the pitch, shorter break.

8.10.16:  Price is 5-11 and has a lankier athletic frame, throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot with smooth drop and drive delivery. Long, loose arm action that is quick with some effort. Shoulders are uphill and closed and he lands square with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball sat 84-85 with late run. Late-breaking sharp 11/5 curveball with good armspeed was 68-73. Outstanding change-up with good armspeed and fade was 73-76. Showed good command off all three pitches.
1.18.16: Price has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. He has a clean arm action and creates good downward plane on his fastball. He showed good command of his fastball and good armspeed on his change-up.
11.1.15: Price has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a long, loose arm action and a quick arm that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are uphill and closed as he strides out on line to a square landing and an athletic finish. Price’s fastball sat 78-80 and touched 81 with late, heavy run and good downward plane. His curveball had late 11/5 break and decent armspeed, running 67-69. Price commanded both pitches well during his outing. He did not throw his changeup in the game, but it is his best secondary offering, with good armspeed and heavy fading action.
2.15.15 Hit from and athletic/balanced stance that was open and tall. Smooth load back that was short. Took a short stride that maintained balance. Good approach at the plate with fluid rhythm. Short, level path to the ball. Line drive stroke with an Exit Velocity of 71 mph. In the field, threw from a high ¾ arm slot with a short, loose arm action that is very accurate. Had good actions and played through the ball. Showed soft hands with fluid footwork and clean exchanges. Lacks some foot speed. Showed average arm strength with a Positional Velocity of 75 mph. 2.15.15 Price has an athletic frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. He has a long arm action with a bit of a wrap before a quick armstroke. He has drop and drive mechanics and stays online throughout his delivery with uphill shoulders creating good downward plane to his pitches. He finishes in an athletic position. Price’s fastball was 76-78 mph with slight late run to it that he commanded well. His curveball has 11/5 action and was a bit inconsistent and up in the zone, running 65-68 mph. He threw a fading change-up with good armspeed that ran 65-68 mph. 7/31/14:  5-foot-8, 135 pound, 2B/RHP, has an athletic frame. He has good rhythm throughout his delivery and has a good athletic finish. He threw from a high three-quarters slot and his fastball worked at 72-74, topping out at 75. His fastball had some run and sinking action to it. Price also showed a 10/4 slider from 62-64 that he threw with fastball arm speed and had a good late break to it. Price’s change-up had outstanding fading action to it. He threw it with near fastball arm speed and it sat at 65. Price did a good job of commanding all three pitches. In the field, Price showed very clean fielding mechanics and eye hand coordination with this glove.  With an increase in speed and agility he would project to be a polished 2nd baseman.  At the plate, Price has a good stance with good rhythm.  With an increase in leg drive in his swing he should be a high average hitter with the ability to hit to all parts of the field.  Price displayed a good swing path that allowed him to consistently get the barrel to the baseball.

7.14.15 Price has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a short, loose arm action and a quick armstroke that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are very elevated and closed as he strides out on line to a square landing before coming to an athletic finish. Price’s fastball touched 81 and he worked in the 78-80 range with late sink. His curveball had late 11/5 action to it and ran 66-69. His changeup was a plus offering, thrown with full armspeed and fading action, running 67-72. He nibbled a bit in his first inning of work but showed outstanding command in and out of the zone of all of his pitches in his other two innings of work.
