Ledford is 6-2 with a lankier athletic 177 pound frame that has projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength contact, showed a good approach working gap to gap, shows some gap power potential, exit velocity was 84. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 72. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a fall-off finish and a bit of recoil. Fastball was 68-72, with some downward angle and some late armside run. Curveball was 59-61 with good armspeed and big sharp 11/5 break to it.
