Ferguson displayed simple efficient mechanics during his delivery. Small rocker step, repeatable leg lift before striding down and out, and lands slightly closed. Short quick arm throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 79-82 and topped at 83 mph. Slider has 11/5 shape sitting at 73-74 mph with arm speed and intent. Changeup sat 68-69 mph and is still a work in progress.
