5.31.17: Williams has an athletic frame. Defensively is a solid receiver, did a good job with Hanner. Clean exchange and some accuracy on throws, between inning pops were 2.09-2.16, didn’t get many good feeds to work with. At the plate, open stance, leg kick stride. Pulls off a bit with a longer path but has batspeed to make up for it. Extends uphill through the ball and has some power potential.

2.18.17:  Williams is 5-8 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance. Leg kick stride, loads into wrap, explosive hips and good balance throughout swing. Level to slightly uphill swing path, line drive swing with some gap power potential, good approach working middle of the field, exit velocity was 86. Behind the plate, quick clean exchange, short arm action throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot. Pop times 1.94-2.01 and catcher velocity was 77. 60 time was 7.35.

12.3.16:  Williams is 5-8 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from an athletic stance. Leg kick stride and short load back, shows hips and balance throughout swing. Longer path, extends uphill through the ball with a pull approach, exit velocity of 83. Behind the plate, quick clean release, gaining ground during transfer. Short arm action from high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity of 71 with pop times 2.05-2.08. Sticks the ball well and holds it firmly.
