2.11.17: Rini is 6-3 with an athletic frame. Drop and drive delivery throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action and some effort. Shoulders uphill and on line, strides to square landing with some fall off and recoil during his finish. Fastball was 78-79 with some late run. Curveball had late 12/6 break and was 58-64. Change-up was 64-69 and thrown with some armspeed and sink. Hits from the left side from an athletic stance, short stride on line, slight load back with a bit of a wrap. Explosive hips and some balance. Short to ball, works a bit uphill with a quick bat, exit velocity was 89. Line drive swing, showed good approach working middle of the field. At first, gets behind the ball with average footwork. Average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, position velocity was 80.
