Arndt is 5-9 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open upright stance, short stride on line, short smooth load back, hips rotate completely and he maintains balance during his swing. Short level swing path, exit velocity was 75. At short, fields with a wider base and average hands, rounds ball and works through it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, infield velocity was 74. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with short free arm action and normal effort. Shoulders closed and level, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 73-76, touching 77 with hard late run. Curveball was 64-66 with sharp 12/6 break and some armspeed.

Arndt has a lankier athletic frame, he threw from a three-quarters arm slot with normal effort. Fastball was 74-77 with heavy late run to it. Curveball had gradual 10/4 break, running 64-67. Pitch had some shape.
