Moffett has an athletic frame and hits from the right side. Showed good patience and a short swing. Needs to get stronger at contact, but has a chance to be a line drive, top of the order type hitter, speed can impact game. The swing in the video was a ball he caught off the end a bit and dropped in behind second base for a hit. Handles the bat well. At short, he has quick feet and attacks the ball aggressively, almost too aggressive sometimes, could benefit from playing at a more relaxed pace. Hands are soft and very quick in the transfer.
