Morgan has a compact athletic frame standing around 5-foot-9/5-foot-10. Biggest thing that stood out about him is that he flat out competes when he is on the mound. Starts in a quartered setup on the mound, engages lower half early, and drives off of backside down the mound landing on line. Longer arm circle that gets to a low three-quarter slot and pitches with intent. Fastball sat between 78-82 the entire game and got up to 83 on occasions. Fastball had some late arm side run and he attacked hitters on multiple levels. Curveball had more of a slurve break. At time it showed some sweeping action and 2/8 shape sitting between 63-65 mph. I thought the changeup was his out pitch and it showed fastball intent and present armspeed at 71-73 mph. Had late hard fade and got plenty of swings and misses and bad contact on the day. Morgan has a legitimate pick move and caught three Menchville runners on the day.

11.1.17:  5-foot-9, 150-pound frame. Compact delivery on the mound with longer loose arm action throwing from a three quarter slot. Nice pitch ability of three pitches. Fastball was 77-79, touching 80 on the day with some arm speed. 1/7 shape on breaking ball at 66 mph. Change has fast at 71 mph. Athletic with body control. Evident in a better pickoff move. Shows some bat speed at the plate hitting from an athletic set up. Two way potential.
