Clarke has a lanky frame with a lot of projection left to it. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action with some quickness to it. Shoulders closed and slightly uphill, some drop and drive in his delivery, lands closed with some fall off and recoil. Fastball was 79-81 with some late run to armside. Good armspeed on a slider with late 10/4 break that was 70-71. Was around the zone but struggled to get strike calls and was behind in the count most of his outing. Has some velocity upside as he adds strength to his frame.
