Bryce Barber: C/RHP, (2027) Essex high, VT. 5-foot-9, 145-pound lean athletic frame. Above average and  projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (65.6 mph bat speed average). (22.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap controlled stride. Bat speed is developing, has an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average and athletic from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 78 mph; shows developing soft hands, a natural exchange, and developing athletic feet. Movements laterally were athletic developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.44 in the 60-yard dash. Athletic and capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. He has in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-77 mph; had running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1925; Avg 1863).
