5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Excellent showing for this young man, as it was out first time seeing him. Ran a 4.37 down the line on his dig to first base. The footwork and glove are above average in the infield. Threw 79 mph across the diamond with an easy and fluid effort. The ability to play all 3 spots in the infield are present, but he could stay at shortstop in college, as he moves well enough. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot slightly open to start. Uses a pick up and put down of the front foot to back online with his feet. The path is flat and accelerated through the ball. The bat speed is plus and he hammered the ball in batting practice as well as live play. Good looking prospect.
