The approach in the infield is fundamentally sound as the feet work and he shows soft hands through the receiving of the baseball. The arm is short on the backside, as he threw 75 mph across the diamond during the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground to the baseball. The swing is short and he does a nice job of loading his hands. On the mound, the fastball sat 74-76 mph with minimal arm side action to it. The spin pitch was 68-70 mph and solid in shape. He showed a developing changeup sitting at 71-72 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is high 3/4. The lift is solid in tempo, shows a back lean as he comes offline prior to getting into foot strike. The arm works freely, just needs better direction to the plate.
