Compact, lean frame with a muscular build throughout at 5-foot-6, 150 pounds. Uses a balanced, wide set-up in the box with direct alignment towards the pitcher. Slight bat wiggle for rhythm as hands start parallel to back shoulder. Low leg lift with short stride as hands take a subtle move down and back. Direct, compact stroke with controlled effort. Contact approach with some pull-side lift. Stays in legs with a high finish. Defensively, aggressive, confident approach in the OF. Choppy, speedy footwork when approaching the ball. Stays gathered behind the baseball and creates solid momentum as he works thru the catch into his throwing motion. Tight arm path with a high ¾ release and aggressive follow thru. On the mound, uses a slower, deliberate tempo. Starts delivery with a side step before getting into a balanced leg lift with some hesitation at the top. Keeps shoulders level at hand break and works down the mound with a cross action stride. Full arm path with a tight, bent glove side. Arm action shortens up before working into high ¾ release. Creates some downhill plane on the ball from a shorter stature. Lower half whips around with conviction after release. Eyes stay on target throughout.
