Hands start relaxed, just above shoulder line before shifting down and back as he takes short, controlled forward stride. Weight stays centered as he gets into landing. Showed a strong, quick left-handed stroke with impressive bat speed. Consistently connected with ball out front, creating easy lift and power that should play from gap to gap. Stays tall in lower half to help create leverage. At 3B, had a consistent defensive workout with a reliable glove hand and deliberate tempo. Ranges laterally at a controlled pace & maintains body control. Gets into a wide set up while funneling ball out front before it gets deep into his stance. Glove-tap exchange into high ¾ slot. Quality arm strength up to 85 across the diamond. At C, has solid mobility in his hips, allowing him to set up low and work beneath the ball. Glove hand shows strength when receiving. Solid footwork getting out of crouch and aligning body with target. Arm action stays short/tight. High ¾ release with accurate carry out of hand. Backside gets thru after release.
