Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. Lanky build, long levers.
Hit: RHH. Tall stance with narrow base. Medium leg lift while hinging into back hip. Stays upright on backside. Minor hand load for seperation. Hands drop to get on plane as hip and knee go towards pitcher. Hands come up through the zone, slightly across the plate to his pull side. Arms almost extended prior to and during contact. Hips drive towards pitcher with fast rotation. 66.7 mph bat speed with 18 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Arm: RH. OF-81 mph. Uses step behind technique to generate momentum. Short arm action. Throws over top for very little tail. Zips ball with velocity through target. Defense: Starts upright in the OF. Uses long strides to glide to the baseball. Deliberate footwork coming in on the baseball.
ATH: 7.12 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.91 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Long strides. "
Long, lanky and projectable. Bell checks a lot of boxes physically and the actions all project for future development. Speed should play in the OF with his lengthy strides and there’s present arm strength as well. Offensively he creates quality bat speed & gets plenty of leverage from lower half. Uphill swing path should lead to more power as he continues to mature physically.
