Hit: Narrowly open base. Starts tall then gathers on backside with low leg lift. Coil type load into rear hip. Hands stay beyond rear shoulder with slight push back prior to landing. Aggressive forward move. Athletic base with strong lower half. Rotates well through contact. Controlled bat speed. Line drive approach with slightly uphill path. Level finish. Barrel covers depth in the zone.
Power: Peak EV of 96.9 with avg of 88.4. High avg EV should play well with his strengths and allow for gap-to-gap or doubles power. Can drive the ball into the gaps and turn on the jets for XBHs.
Arm: 81 mph across the diamond with consistent effort and quick footwork. Gets rid of the ball efficiently and doesn’t waste movement. Tight, compact arm slot from low ¾ release.
Defense: Feet play well on the dirt. Moves laterally with body control and has ability to adjust arm slot. Comfortable making plays on the move. Reliable glove hand and clean exchange. Actions can play at multiple spots on the diamond.
Run: 6.90 - 7.0 runner. Speed plays on the bases. Solid 1st to 3rd type acceleration once he gets underway. Athletic strides.
