Eli Weir, Annie Wright Schools (WA), 2027
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 189-pounds.
Delivery: Starts off in a semi wind-up with a open front foot and feet shifted to the first base side of the rubber, with feet shoulder width apart and hands set at the chin. Moves to a closed front foot stretch with feet shoulder width apart and hands set below the letters. Front leg lifts into stride as hands stay relatively still attached to the belt before breaking apart as front foot strides down the mound, with momentum shifting down the mound until landing with bend in the knee. Upper half stays tall through the stretch with eyes staying locked on target through release, finishing with a high loose trail leg and momentum carrying back towards the first base line.
Arm Action: RH. Hands break downwards into a short arm swing up to a high 3/4 arm release.
FB: T84, 82-83 mph. T2234, 2076 average rpm.
SL: 72-73 mph. T2262, 2204 average rpm.
CH: 78-79 mph. T1696, 1607 average rpm.
ATH: 7.42 runner in the 60. 1.74 and 4.13 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 21.10 max vertical.

Eli Weir, Annie Wright Schools (WA), 2027
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 189-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Feet are shoulder width apart, weight is shifted back over the rear leg, and both feet are square to the plate. In the upper half hands start preloaded slightly with handset ear high stacked past the rear foot, with bat stacked near vertically overhands. Hands and front foot brake immediately into the swing, front foot lifts and strides quick to landing as hips shift forward. Hands load back away from frame slightly before front foot lands in a closed stance causing hips to flip open pulling hands tight to body through the zone with uphill contact on the ball. Weight shifts forward through the swing but finishes with hips back and a controlled two-handed finish. 67.9 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 80.8 mph. 344' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-80 mph. Throwing hand is resting on before working higher as the ball is caught to then make a quick transfer at chin level to a 3/4 arm release.
Defense: 2.11-2.28 pop times. Works from standard 1KD stance on throwdowns with chest square to pitcher and the plate. When presenting target to pitcher shows glove center of strike zone. As the ball is thrown begins to work up through the catch while also swiveling hips to make throw down and transfer easier.
ATH: 7.42 runner in the 60. 1.74 and 4.13 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 21.10 max vertical.
Vizual Edge: 68.46 Edge Score
