2/24/18 Initiates swing from neutral set up with controlled stride to neutral. Intermittent early hand leak reduces separation. Weight shift and hip turn are aggressive. Achieves leverage through back side release into firm front side. There is balance and rhythm to swing in recording bat exit velocity of 69 mph. Overall hitting mechanics are solid n young player.
On the mound works out of high 3/4 arm slot showing ability to consistently repeat delivery while flashing long, loose arm action. FB at 68-70 demonstrated subtle arm side run. CB sat 57-58 mph with 1-7 shape and rolling action. CH at 57-58 was delivered with good sell and arm side fade.
