2.24.19 - Offensively, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound primary Outfielder displayed overall athleticism by running a 7.05-laser timed 60. Showed the ability to consistently find the barrel. Has a smoothness to his swing. A 88 mph exit velocity was recorded.
Defensively, Adkins showed a good, accurate arm at 80 mph from the outfield. He moves well in space and doesn't let the ball get outside his body.he watches the ball into his glove. He would benefit from fielding the ball more inside of his frame, but his hands and arm are adequate.
