11.18.18 - Defensively, Illar displayed a solid showing in the outfield. Illar aggressively plays through ball on the ground with confident glove hand and good technique. He stays in line and follows throws with a developing arm strength  of 86 mph.
Offensively, Illar initiates his swing from an open stance. His hands and wrists work well and on time with his body. His swing is a little long, but has enough athleticism to make up for it. a 80 mph exit velocity was recorded.
On the mound, a RHP who works the zone with three pitches. The delivery is simple, is balanced throughout, repeats it for the most part. The hands start at his waist and work up with his controlled, high leg raise. The separation is on time, front shoulder is strong and stays in line with target.   The arm action is longer on the back side, works out of a ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 81-82 mph, and was up to 83 mph with good action to the arm side.
