Physical: 6-foot-0, 160 pounds; athletic. 7.03 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Closed slightly spread stance; small leg kick. straight up with long, smooth through the zone; 22 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Ellis is able to produce 6.9 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 45%.  Present pull side awareness; average Trackman exit velocity of 85 MPH; peak exit velo was 89 MPH. Defensively: Straight up; athletic actions, played through the ball; high release.  OF - 84 MPH.

6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed balance throughout with a line drive, middle of the field approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball routinely in the outfield with accurate 82 mph arm strength to home plate.

Offensively, the 5-foot-11, 160-pound primary pitcher starts in a neutral, athletic stance. Displayed a simple, effective swing that he shows well. Looks to drive the ball with a slight launch. A 82 mph exit velocity was recorded.

Defensively, Ellis fields the ball inside of his body and displays athletic lateral movement. An accurate arm was also displayed. He also ran a 7.45 - 60. A 76 mph positional velocity was recorded. Overall, Ellis is a solid player and one to watch in the 2021 class.

On the mound, Ellis showed an easy, repeatable motion out of a 3/4 arm slot. His FB sat 75-77, and topped at 78 mph. CB sat 62-63 mph, along with a CH at 65-67 mph. His low effort delivery coupled with his overall athleticism makes him a player to follow in the 2021 class.

Defensively, gets behind the ball and catches at it's height. Plays threw ball in air and on ground showing confident glove hand and proper technique. Recorded arm strength of 78 mph on throws from the OF.

Offensively, 5-foot-11 160-pound, right-handed hitter initiates swing from slightly open set up with short stride without gaining ground to neutral. Separation, weight shift and hip turn are adequate. Swing path is uphill while working into a firm front side. A bat exit velocity of 83 mph was recorded.

On the mound, the right-hander works out of a high 3/4 arm slot with repeatable, moderate effort delivery. Fastball sat 73-75 and was true. Curveball at 63-64 showed 11/5 shape, rolling action and moderate depth. Changeup was thrown with reasonable sell at 68-69 while being cut to the glove side.
