2018 New Year Open Notes - Unsigned Senior Position Players

Chris Kemlo
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

We highlight some of the unsigned senior position players from our first event the New Year Open. A lot these guys have been somewhat overlooked and all have tools and the ability to pitch and contribute at the next level.

With teams still looking to add to their pitching staff, these names below are a good place to begin.

For more information on players, please contact our directors Chris Kemlo [email protected] or George Halim [email protected]

Ontario Insider: 2018 New Year Open Notes - Unsigned Senior Position Players

Brandon Clarke OF / Sir William Mulock, ON / 2018

Report: Athleticism to say the least. Ran a 6.59, was 89 mph from the outfield with good carry and proper rotation. The bat had some strength but was stiff at times and can make a few mechanical adjustments with the swing. Clarke has two above average tools right now and is a guy who could breakout with the right influence from the hitting side. Speed and defence play right now and he should hit enough to be impactful player at the right school.
