Uncommitted 2019 Spotlight - Dryden Howse

Prospect Update: Listed at 6-foot, 197-pounds, currently ranked 4th overall in Alberta’s 2020 class, the uncommitted infielder has a smooth swing at the plate from the left side as he stays balanced through contact with looseness in his swing while loading his hands and driving through the ball. He has the ability to place the ball in both gaps with authority and more power to come in the future as he matures and makes strength gains. On the defensive side, the ball comes out of his hand easy and clean with accuracy across the diamond. He has good hands with a quick release and confident with his actions and footwork. A young 2020 with tools, work ethic and game that coaches need to lock in on.
