Background: Eymundson is ranked 15th overall and 3rd at the catcher spot making him the top player overall left on the uncommitted list. The strength has continued to progress since we first saw him in the fall, he put up an exit velocity of 85 and was 79 mph from the crouch defensive work. The swing is coming along from the left side, he has been successful due to pure strength and aggressive approach with some feel for the barrel. There is some small adjustments moving forward in the swing but he keeps improving every time we see him. He has the tools and work ethic along with physicality and will be a great player and student for whoever scoops him up.

Need to Know: Dirk is talking to a few different jucos right now along with UBC, ahe is looking to find the right fit and make a commitment prior to starting his senior season behind the dish. We will get a look at him tomorrow during the Prospects Scout Day as he will be with the guys out of St. Albert for the remainder of the year. The standout catcher is more than reliable defensively and continues to progress and work on his skills but the bat from the left side is what makes him so attractive. With the grades to meet just about any academic requirements, this Alberta product is a late gift for any coach looking for a catcher in 2018.
