PBR Events Attended: Southern Alberta Talent ID 2017, Calgary College Prospect Showcase 2018

Background: MacKenzie was a staple in the Junior Dinos Yellow outfield last season. This season, he will make the jump to a corner outfield spot for the Junior Dinos Black team. MacKenzie a beast in the weight room, with room to still add strength and mass. Swing is still raw, but his strength gives him gap to gap power. As he refines his swing, will add power and contact skills.  Look for an increase in his 83 mph exit velocity in the near future. Long follow through allows him to stay through the ball. Will also improve on his 7.26 60-Yard Dash time he recorded in Lethbridge this fall.

Need to Know: As a 2019 grad, MacKenzie looks to have a successful season this summer with the Junior Dinos. Athleticism is off the charts and has made huge jumps since he joined the Junior Dinos two years ago, and looks to continue that trend in the upcoming year. As he continues to mature as a player, Mackenzie will look to keep it all moving in the right direction this summer and should be one to follow for college coaches.
