Few players have seen their stock rise as much as Thompson in recent months, and the uncommitted 2028 outfielder put together the loudest performance of the event. There's some serious twitch in the swing with premium bat speed and a level path that generates plenty of backspin and carry off the barrel. Thompson launched baseballs throughout his round of batting practice, reaching a max exit velocity of 107.9 mph while also leading the event with a 99.2 mph average exit velocity. The athleticism is equally impressive, as he turned in a blazing 6.41-second 60-yard dash and showed arm strength up to 89 mph from the outfield. Thompson has generated considerable momentum as of late and should draw plenty of attention from college coaches heading into the 2027 spring.
A Future Games alum and one of the top uncommitted backstops in Alabama's 2028 class, House continues to put together quality performances on both sides of the ball. The 6-foot-1, 197-pounder has a strong, physical frame with a well-rounded offensive and defensive skill set. Offensively, he works with a simple operation and a well-connected stroke that allows him to routinely find the barrel and drive baseballs with authority to the pull-side gap. Recorded a max exit velocity of 98.3 mph during batting practice and turned in pop times ranging from 1.94-2.03 seconds behind the plate. House brings a quality combination of present offensive ability and defensive tools at a premium position.
Tyson continues his steady ascent after putting together a string of strong performances over the past six months. The 5-foot-10, 183-pound backstop has a physical lower half with present strength that translates well to his left-handed swing. There's good rhythm and ease to the stroke with the ability to lift baseballs and drive them with authority, reaching a max exit velocity of 97.6 mph during batting practice. The ball jumps off the barrel with some real thump, and there's reason to believe more power is on the way as he continues to develop physically. Tyson is an uncommitted 2028 catcher that college coaches will want to get eyes on heading into the 2027 spring.
One of the few underclassmen to earn a starting role for Hewitt-Trussville's Class 7A state championship team last spring, Jackson is an uncommitted 2028 outfielder with a solid set of tools. The 5-foot-11, 168-pounder has an athletic frame with added strength that has started to translate to his offensive profile. Works with an up-the-middle approach and an upward bat path, consistently finding the barrel with a max exit velocity of 97.4 mph. His athleticism translates well to the outfield, where he showed quality arm strength at 93 mph and also turned in a 6.91-second 60-yard dash. A name worth following heading into the spring after gaining valuable varsity experience as an underclassman for one of the state's top programs.
Making his first appearance at a Prep Baseball event, Alvarez was one of the more impressive two-way performers in attendance. The 6-foot, 184-pound junior has an athletic frame with a well-rounded set of tools that translated to both sides of the ball. Offensively, he works from a wider stance with good separation and a line-drive approach, reaching a max exit velocity of 96.3 mph. Also turned in a 6.90-second 60-yard dash and showed quality arm strength across the diamond at 90 mph. On the mound, Alvarez works exclusively from the stretch with a quick arm out of a high three-quarter slot. The fastball sat 87-89 mph and topped at 89.8 mph with a 99 Hop+ score, while mixing in a 75-77 mph slider and a 75-76 mph changeup that featured 17.1 inches of horizontal movement.
A strong, physical 6-foot, 200-pound corner infielder with plenty of present strength in the swing. Jones has an efficient rhythm from the right side with a smooth, controlled stroke that allows him to consistently find the barrel. The ball comes off the bat with authority and he routinely squared up baseballs to the pull-side gap throughout his round of batting practice. There's easy strength at contact with a heavy barrel that generates plenty of carry, reaching a max exit velocity of 98.7 mph.
A physical 6-foot-2, 194-pound two-way prospect with an intriguing mix of present tools, Lutz put together a quality showing on the mound with some offensive ability as well. Works from a lower release height (4.9 ft.) that creates deception and allows his pitches to play with quality movement profiles. The fastball worked 85-87 mph with heavy arm-side run, reaching 18.7 inches of horizontal movement. Showed a firm 80-81 mph slider with spin rates up to 2313 RPM, while the changeup operated in the same velocity range with 16.8 inches of horizontal movement. It's a quality three-pitch mix with good traits across the board, and he also recorded a max exit velocity of 97.9 mph during his offensive workout.
An intriguing uncommitted southpaw in the 2028 class, Jordan has an athletic 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame with room for additional physical development. Works primarily out of the stretch with a two-piece arm stroke that comes through a higher slot and creates some steepness to the angle. The fastball worked 86-87 mph and topped at 87.3 mph with up to 22.0 inches of induced vertical break. Mixed in a 72-73 mph curveball that registered up to 2318 RPM and a 100 Sweep+ score, while also featuring a 75-76 mph changeup to round out the three-pitch mix.
At 6-foot, 207-pounds, Green possesses a strong, physical frame with plenty of present strength that translates to his offensive profile. The right-handed hitter looks to lift the baseball with an uphill path and consistently produced loud contact to the pull side during batting practice. Launched several balls over the wall throughout his round and recorded a max exit velocity of 101.2 mph. Uses his strength well in the swing and has the type of power profile that projects as a middle-of-the-order presence.
