NORTHPORT, AL – The inaugural Alabama Rising Stars Games took place on Sunday, August 30th, at River Run Park in Northport, AL, bringing together a talented group of prospects from the 2031-2032 classes for an early look at some of the top young talent in the state. The invite-only event gave players an opportunity to compete alongside and against their peers while performing in front of the Prep Baseball Alabama staff.

Players in attendance went through a full pro-style workout that included laser-timed 60-yard dashes using VALD Performance gates, batting practice with TrackMan technology, and defensive evaluations with arm strength metrics recorded at each position. The workout was followed by live gameplay, providing our staff an opportunity to evaluate each prospect's tools and athleticism before seeing how those skills translated to game action.

Aiden Arthurs, Hoover (AL), 2031 |
Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 5-4, 110-pounds. Smaller frame, more room to add size.
Delivery: Worked from the stretch with a repeatable delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm action from a lower 3/4 slot.
FB: T64, 59-63 mph. Fastball shows sink/arm side run. T1791, 1415 average rpm.

Holt Blount, Tuscaloosa County (AL), 2031 |
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Proportional build with some present strength.
Delivery: Repeatable delivery, clean mover.
Arm Action: RH. Higher arm action.
FB: T78, 75-78 mph. Arm side action, late life through zone. T1856, 1698 average rpm.
CB: 64-66 mph. Spotty control at times, showed tighter spin. T2311, 2169 average rpm.

Tyler David, Homewood Middle School (AL), 2031 |
Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-8, 140-pounds. Proportional frame, athletic.
Delivery: Stayed in the stretch for the entirety of his outing, clean actions on the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Shorter and quick arm.
FB: T68, 63-68 mph. Fastball worked to all parts of the zone, played down. T1716, 1615 average rpm.
CB: 54-60 mph. 12/6 breaking-ball. T1529, 1500 average rpm.

Riley Jay, JU Blacksher (AL), 2031 |
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-4, 160-pounds. Compact frame, room for added development.
Delivery: Worked primarily from the stretch with good tempo down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Shorter arm action.
FB: T67, 62-67 mph. Sporadic at times with the FB, missed up and arm side. When in the zone, showed ASR. T1698, 1484 average rpm.

Levi Larson, Homewood (AL), 2031 |
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-9, 146-pounds. Longer and lean build. Athletic.
Delivery: Worked primarily from the stretch.
Arm Action: RH. Higher 3/4 arm slot. Longer arm action.
FB: T69, 67-69 mph. Sporadic with control at times, FB showed arm side action. T1781, 1570 average rpm.
