Each week, we carefully analyze box scores and coach submissions to identify the most outstanding high school performer for our Player of the Week award.

INF/RHP Blaize Ward (Maumelle; Missouri) earns Week 4 honors after an dominant two-way performance for the Hornets. The Missouri signee was nearly unstoppable at the plate, going 8-for-9 with two doubles, a home run, nine RBIs, and three stolen bases, helping lead Maumelle to a perfect 3-0 week. Ward also shined on the mound, earning the win against Harmony Grove with four scoreless innings, allowing just three hits while striking out nine.
