2024 Semifinal:

The run for team Arkansas 2024 comes to an end with a 9-2 defeat to eventual champions Team Ohio. leading the way offensively was Lance Davis who had two hits and scored a run. Jack Hamm had the only two RBI’s as he roped a 1-0 breaking ball into left field scoring two. Lance Davis threw 2 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits. Meyer Maddox started the game and went two innings pounding the zone with a fastball and a curveball. Chase Nixon also  pitched an inning in relief. It was a tough luck game as Caleb Champion, Ethan Martin, Chase Nixon, Dax Webb all lined out into tough luck outs. Overall Team Arkansas 2024 went 4-1 bowing out in the semifinals. A great group with great energy and a bright future coming there way.

2022 Game 1:

The bats came alive against Illinois for team Arkansas as they beat Team Illinois 12-0. Colton Sims went complete game 4 innings striking out 8 surrendering 1 hit, amd 1 walk. Sims was 79-81 topping at 83. Curveball was 65-68 change up was 72-74, along with a cutter at 77-78. Offensively leading the way was Jackson Mullen with two hits and an RBI, Ethan Fender went 1-1 with 2 RBI, Duke Walker was 1-1 with 4 RBI and a Homerun. Isaac Cottle, Tripp Landers, Grant Fitch, Trey Hill all tallied singles. In total 8 hits with 11 RBI’s on the game.

2022 Game 2:

Team Oklahoma wins a wild one 11-8 over Team Arkansas. Duke Walker started for Arkansas and was 77-81 touching 83. He filed the zone up with strikes. His curveball was 62 with shape. Changeup was 72 with action at the plate and a pitch he will utilize as he develops. Josh Hyneman had a big night going 2-3 with 2 doubles, Ty Hipps had two RBI’s going 1-3, Trey Hill went 1-3 with an RBI,  Isaac Cottle, Clark Jenkins, Colton Sims, Grant Fitch all had a hit a piece. Tripp Landers, Kolby Webb, and Duke Walker all had an RBI a piece.

2023 Game 1

Arkansas gets run ruled by Ohio 11-2. Austin Jones Struck out 7 in 3 IP. Frankie Santiago, Ty Ridley, Hutson Guinn, Kade Smith all had singles. Cole Carlton had a double down the right field line. Austin Jones had an RBI and a single.

2023 Game 2:

Team Oklahoma beats Team Arkansas 9-2. Tyler Ridley struck out the side in the first and ended his outing with 6 strikeouts in 2 and ⅔ innings pitched. Ran his fastball up to 76 and commanded it to both sides of the plate. Flashed a curveball at 65-66 with shape and used as a strikeout pitch. Mason Bradley yet again showed off his speed by stealing second and third base as he did all weekend. Kade Smith had a hit as he tallied a hit in each game. Frankie Santiago showed off his arm throwing out a would be baserunner throwing a dart to second base. Zach Adams and Andrew Vaden had the lone RBI’s for the game. Cole Carlton had a base hit and scored a run.

2024 Game 1:

Jumping out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to Ethan Martin singling and scoring on a Chase Nixon triple who later scored on an error. Isaac Lopez Started on the mound working two innings. Defense was a struggle early and Arkansas had to claw from behind from a 6-2 deficit. Chase Nixon threw an inning of relief throwing darts to both sides of the plate. Team Arkansas scored 4 in the top of the 5th started by Caleb Champion with a leadoff single, including back to back triples by Ethan Martin and Lance Davis. After giving up a run by Caleb Crusinbery in the bottom of the 5th, Bennett Crafton delivers the two out RBI double to give Team Arkansas the lead in the top of the 6th. Crusinbery goes 1-2-3 to keep Arkansas undefeated and earning the #1 Seed headed into bracket play.

2024 Game 2:

Team Arkansas run rules Kentucky 13-5 in 5 innings. Dax Webb went 4 innings striking out 9 and walking 10 scattering 1 hit. Command was an issue but he managed to battle through 4 innings of work. Ethan Martin was efficient using 6 pitches to finish his inning of work. Offensively, Braden Sprague drove a all off the wall for a double, Ethan Martin and Jack Hamm each had an RBI as team Arkansas jumps out to a 3-0 lead. After two innings it was tied at 3 as Webb battled his control. Chase Nixon and Isaac Lopez walked to lead off, after a groundout and a walk, Meyer Maddox had a bloop single for two RBI’s pushing the lead to 5-3. After putting up a zero, Ethan Martin hit a double, followed up by a RBI single by Caleb Crusinbery to push the lead to 6-3. Bottom of the fifth the game got out of hand as Team Arkansas pushed the game to 13-5 as Chase Nixon hit a leadoff double, Isaac Lopez walked, Caleb Champion drove a single through the left side scoring a run, Bennett Crafton walked Loading the bases, Dax Webb had an RBI single up the middle. Braden Sprague walked, Lance Davis grounded out, Ethan Martin gets an RBI single up the middle, Caleb Crusinbery singled up the middle and scores a run, Nixon reaches on an error, Lopez, and Champion follow with walks, Crafton Walks, Meyer ends the game with an infield RBI single.

August 4th:

2022 Team goes 0-1-1 in Day 1. Team Arkansas loses the game 9-4. Game one Cooper Dossett Came out throwing strikes at 80-83. Spinning his breaking ball at 69-71 getting swing and misses. Jackson Mullen, Tyler Hipps, and Kolby Webb all had singles Mullen and Webb each had an RBI. Trey Hill swung it well with an aggressive approach making constant hard contact. Drew McClendon was 75-78 and consistently got ground balls in his two innings of work. Showed a slower breaking ball at 68-69. Ethan Fender came in relief and got 3 outs efficiently working 76-78.

2022 Game 2

Team Arkansas finished game 2 in a  7-7 tie with Team Kansas. The offense exploded out early getting out to a 4-0 lead, before the 4th inning showed signs of collapse when Kansas pushed across 6 runs to take the lead. Adding another run in the 6th Kansas took a 7-4 run lead headed into the seventh when the offense came roaring back. Cooper Dossett, Ethan Fender, Duke Walker, Clark Jenkins, Kolby Webb all had hits in the seventh tying the game. Clark Jenkins had the two RBI single that tied the game at 7. Pitching highlights Tyler Hipps showed advanced feel for breaking ball 68-70 with great shape and downward action. Isaac Cottle went three innings clean before running out of juice in the 4th.

2023 Game 1:

Team Arkansas loses a back and forth battle 5-2 late in the 6th inning. After both teams had back to back solo home runs team Indiana pulled away in the 6th. CF Mason Bradley 1-2 with a single also outfield assist throwing runner out at home from centerfield. 2023 C from TX Frankie Santiago went 2-2 with a single and HR. 2023 1B Hutson Guinn 1-2 HR. 2023 RHP Kade Smith worked 4 complete 7 k's 4 hits 2 runs. FB 76-78 hit 79 a few times CB 62 and knuckleball at 66. 2023 RHP Landen Beaver with 3 innings of relief giving up 3 runs on 5 hits. FB 67 CB 55

2023 Game 2:

Kentucky Run rules team Arkansas 11-3 in a one sided matchup. Hutson Guinn, continued to show advanced feel for the barrel and also pitched well running his fastball 71-74 pounding the zone with a 62-62 mph breaking ball. Mason Bradley can flat out fly and showed his tool on several occasions throughout the game. Austin Jones threw a missile on a ground ball to left field on a play at the plate. Frankie Santiago and Hutson Guinn both had an rbi single.

2024 Game 1:

6-5 Walk off win, Caleb Champion scores the winning run as Meyer Maddox gets the game winning hit with a ball off the top of the wall. Ethan Martin showed great instincts all game and had an RBI infield single. Bennett Crafton went 3 innings clean before running into trouble in the 4th. Dax Webb had an RBI double and Hamm had an RBI groundout to second base.

2024 Game 2:

5-3 back and forth win over Kentucky. Lance Davis, Ethan Martin, and Meyer Maddox all combined to give up 3 runs. Caleb Crusinbery was 2-2 single to tie the game at 3-3. Meyer Maddox had a hard hit ball for a double past a diving first baseman. Chase Nixon had some stellar defensive plays especially a back hand play in the 6 hole. The hitters grinded back and forth putting good at bats together.
