Our second Preseason ID of the season took us to Northwest Arkansas. We saw a solid group of old and young players alike. Below we take a look at a some of the top performances as we continue to dissect through the data from today's event. Each player was measured with Trackman, Swift, and Blast as they went through a prostyle workout. As we continue to process today's event we will have more coverage of the players that attended today.

Henry Thatcher Dover C / 3B / Bentonville, AR / 2025

Dover is an athletic catcher that showed consistent barrels in batting practice. As he continues to fill out frame he will continue to showcase his athleticism. Behind the plate he has quick twitch with arm strength. In the infield Henry has easy actions with the arm strength to play on the hot corner.

David Rodriguez III SS / 2B / Springdale, AR / 2024

David has above average skill set in the middle infield and as he continues to add strength his 81 mph exit velo will continue to climb. Middle of the field consistent approach in batting practice with consistent line drives. Rodriguez is a solid prospect headed into the spring.

Nester as one of the younger players in the event showed advanced skills throughout his workout. Line drives with leverage in bp to go along with above average defense with feel and athletic movements.

Caleb Smith 1B / 3B / Har-Ber, AR / 2024

With the highest exit velocity at 92 mph Caleb took a very loud batting practice. Big time power with bat speed to go with it, Smith will be a big bat this spring to follow as power oozes out of his bat.

Klayton Clark 1B / RHP / Farmington, AR / 2025

Big physical frame with consistent barrels and loud contact throughout batting practice Clark is a prospect to follow as he continues to fill out his big frame.

Adam Fairbetter LHP / 1B / Bentonville West, AR / 2024

As Fairbetter continues to progress in his development Adam showed a much stronger frame with consistent power in batting practice to go along with a repeatable delivery off the bump with feel for three pitches. Definite two way follow as the spring approaches.

Cade Miller RHP / 1B / Rogers Heritage, AR / 2025

Miller had a big day both on the bump and at the plate. Some of the highest fastball velocities with feel for three pitches to go along with multiple 90 mph exit velo at the plate. Long limbed with leverage Miller looks to be a prospect to follow as he fills out his long frame.

Graham Jones RHP / 3B / Shiloh Christian, AR / 2023

One of the older players Jones showed feel off the bump. In batting practice Jones showed consistent barrel path and consistent hard contact throughout. Two way player that will have a big spring for the Saints.

Jackson Lanning OF / 2B / Har-Ber, AR / 2024

Lanning breads athleticism and it was on display today. Lean frame with twitch producing line drives with leverage.

Evan Curry SS / OF / Har-Ber, AR / 2024

Curry has actions to stay in the middle and athleticism to go with it. Strength will come and will add to the consistency at the plate as he has a repeatable swing with barrels.

Jacob Maynard 3B / 1B / Shiloh Christian, AR / 2027

One of the youngest players to participate, Maynard didn't disappoint as he showed big power in batting practice. Jacob is a bat to follow that has multiple defensive spots as he continues to develop physically.

Luke Askew SS / RHP / Home School, AR / 2024

Askew had a nice day moving around the infield with ease and showing the top infield velocity. Consistent barrel path with loud contact in batting practice Luke showed simple movements with confidence throughout his workout. Off the bump a four pitch mix with feel in the zone.

Added strength and maturation has proven Bercher to be a prospect to follow. Easy actions in the field and consistent hard contact in batting practice. Bercher has made massive gains since we last saw him and look for him to continue to blossom as the spring approaches.
