6-Foot-1, 165 pound frame, Tall slender right hander with massive upside Pieri showed big like he has all summer. Working his fastball to 88 , he induced weak contact in his two innings of work. Clean arm action and a repeatable slot bodes well for Pierri in the future. A year younger than most he commanded a 69-71 breaking ball with 11-5 shape. As he throws the breaking ball harder he will get more swing and miss. Future is bright for this young right hander who will most certainly garner plenty of attention.
