Quick Hits: Top Prospect Games

Initial thoughts after the 2019 Graduate Top Prospect Games at Little Rock Wednesday June 13th. Our staff is compiling all the information as we begin to dissect this event. Here are a few performances that stood out from Wednesday's event.

2019 C Roderick Stinson JR showed athleticism posting the best run time in the 60. Stinson also showed ability to throw from the catcher's squat as well as receive well in the game. He also showed the ability to hit not only with a solid batting practice but solid middle of the field approach in the game.

2019 SS Mason Huie showed athletic infield actions along with the ability to swing the bat with a consistent approach to the middle of the field with bat speed.

2019 Jacob Wright an athletic catcher running a sub 7.0 60 along with throwing some of the best times in the event behind the plate. He also showed a consistent swing at the plate with middle of the field approach.

2019 SS Jeffrey Sinacore showed easy actions at SS in the workout and game along with a pure arm posting one of the better positional velocities. He also showed a consistent grooved left handed swing with consistent hard contact.

2019 Of Alex Cauley can hit. He showed a solid approach in batting practice with gap to gap power and hit two triples and a double in the game all to the middle of the field.

2019 1B Logan Orr posted one of the highest exit velocities in the event. Smoked a single and double in the game and showed solid approach in batting practice.

2019 William Chaz Poppy C with arm strength and accuracy to go along with power at the plate to the pull side. Physical catcher with high ceiling.

2019 RHP Braiden Partin showed a swing and miss split finger with action that produced countless swing and misses in the game. He also had an rbi single in the game.

2019 RHP Landon McAllister produced the highest pitched velocity running it up to 88 with command of 4 pitches in the zone with repeatable delivery.

2019 OF Justin Scott showed athleticism all over the field and in the box. Pull side power with a frame to fill out.

2019 3B Dylan White physical framed infielder with power at the plate. Held the highest exit velocity along with repeatable delivery on the mound running his fastball up to 84.

2019 RHP Zack Motsinger showed multiple arm angles on his fastball mixing it up and getting ground ball after ground ball. His arm side run posed problems for the hitters in the game.
