With a first-place finish in the 6A Desert Valley Conference (9-1), the Mountain Lions are poised to make waves in the 2024 season with a highly competitive Arizona baseball landscape.

Among the key returners is 2024 right-handed pitcher Smith Bailey, a commit to the University of Arizona. Bailey, ranked as the No. 2 prospect in his class and the No. 1 right-handed pitcher in the state, stands out as one of Arizona's premier draft prospects. His formidable presence on the mound is anticipated to play a pivotal role in the team's success. Bailey was a standout at the inaugural ProCase in Southern California in 2023.

Adding to the roster's strength is 2024 middle infielder Jackson Forbes, also committed to Arizona. Forbes showcased his prowess at the inaugural ProCase held at USC in 2023, where he impressed with a home run over the right-field wall.
