2019 RHP Davis Heller of Mesquite HS has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Arizona Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance on the mound.

The junior Oklahoma commit has missed signifiant time with injury this spring and returned in a big way, tossing a no-hitter against Camp Verde HS last Thursday in a 4-0 victory for Mesquite.  Heller punched out 13 against only 2 walks in the outing to cap an outstanding performance. He also added a home run on Friday to tie Campo in the 7th inning en route to earning the weekly honor. Heller's return from injury only strengthens the state's deepest pitching staff heading into the playoffs.

For his efforts, Heller has been named the Prep Baseball Report Arizona Player of the Week for the week of April 16 – April 22.
