We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at one of the top uncommitted catchers in class of 2022, Henry Chabot (Brophy Prep).

Scouting Report:  Large 6 foot, 205-pound build, strong body with big legs. Starts from a strong medium base, shifting weight to back leg with small toe tap. Gets stuck on the backside at times due to a decent-to-big weight transfer. Natural strength throughout swing with exit velocity up to 100mph. Opened up front shoulder, turning barrel early. Pull side heavy approach with hard GB contact. Quick direct exchanges behind the plate. Side shuffles to 2nd base with average direction, missing to SS side of the bag. Pop times of 1.89-2.1. Some natural arm strength at 81mph to second, 83 across the infield. On the mound, he showed short arm action from H ¾  slot with some quickness. Threw a flat FB at 83-86mph, topping at 87. Mixed in a sharp SL at 72-73 with inconsistent control. Also showed a curveball and changeup. Good spin rate on all of his pitches. A combination of strength and some skills should project Chabot as a quality college player.
